The 13th Annual UCLA Healthcare Symposium invites you to explore the current state of healthcare finance. On January 24, 2008, Dr. James Robinson and Dr. Gerald Kominski will address how prices are established in the American healthcare system, as they trace the path from policy to practice. Dr. Robinson serves as the Kaiser Permanente Distinguished Professor of Health Economics at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health, and Dr. Kominski is the Associate Director of the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research.
Joseph Dunn, JD (CEO of the California Medical Association), Michael Belman, MD, MPH, FACP (Medical Director of Anthem Blue Cross), and David M Carlisle, M.D., Ph.D. (Director of the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Developmentwill then join Dr. Robinson to comprise a Keynote Responder Panel. The panel discussion will be moderated by Dr. Kominski.
